Three Russian Navy ship sailing in the nearby waters of Latvia – The armed forces of Latvia said it had spotted three Russian naval warships in nearby waters.
According to the Latvian military statement via his Twitter account, three warships were identified as Liven 551, Serpukhov 603 and 824 Morshank.
All three warships had crossed four miles or about 7 kilometers from the boundary waters and 22 kilometers from the coast of Latvia.
Russia’s daily publication, Fontanka reported, the three warships emerged as a response to the presence of US destroyers in the region.
The daily added Morshank 824 and warships were originally located around the port Kronstadt, St. Petersburg but then deployed to the Baltic Sea.
